Q. I am a healthy 40-year-old man and have always been a 'fitness freak'. I jog 2 miles per day and can bench-press 300lb. I was shocked when, on visiting my doctor for some mild lower abdominal discomfort, I was told that I have "a double hernia". I thought that only 'weaklings' or sick people had this problem. What exactly is a hernia? |
